In the 39th match of IPL, Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 5 runs. Earlier, batting first, Hyderabad were dismissed by 146 runs in 20 overs. Chasing the target, the RCB lost the match by scoring 141 runs in 6 overs in 20 overs and almost out of the playoff.
Starting the day before losing the toss, Hyderabad started well, and Alex Hales got bowled on Tim Southee’s ball on a total of 15 runs. After some time, Shikhar Dhawan also scored 13 runs and was caught by Mohammad Kareez at the ball to catch Saeedi. Manish Pandey, caught by Kohli, hit Kohli at 48/3.
From there, Ken Williamson not only made half centuries but batted well with Shakib Al Hasan (35) and added 64 runs for the fourth wicket to put the team out of the tricky situation.
