Indian Premier League has been the favorite league for cricket lovers from all over the world. The league has made its place in cricket lovers’ hearts since it’s been launched. The 14th season of IPL is going to start on 9th April 2021 and the final match will be played on 30th May 2021.

IPL 2021 Updates
Covid pandemic has hit us hard. Each people around the world having their own issues due to this. In April, 2021 BCCI has announced IPL T20 -2021 to be held in India with all the possible precautions. But the pandemic hasn’t been good for us, despite being in a safe Bubble, players, staff got positive for Corona. Overseas players weren’t allowed to enter/exit from their places. 31 matches out of 60 has already been organized very well but number of cases were increasing day by day. So BCCI has to finally cancel rest of the Tournament.
Now when we already passed through the second wave of Corona & maximum people has been gone through vaccination, BCCI has announced the new IPL 2021 schedule. The IPL 2021 will be held in UAE just like last season. IPL 2021 is going to start from 19th September to 15th October. 60% crowd will be allowed this year.
The tournament is set to play across six different venues in India, which will be the best news for Indian Cricket lovers. But, “BCCI has also confirmed that the tournament will begin behind closed doors, and a call on letting spectators in will be taken at a later stage”.
Although earlier reports suggested the addition of two more teams in the season, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in their 89th AGM announced that there would not be any additional team for this season and the inclusion of two new teams should happen only in 2022.
